I wanted to reach out to you to say “thank you”. I’m the big sister of Richard & Aunt to beautiful Jacob (aka Jake). I talked to Richard within an hour of your visit with them. His voice cracking, he began to tell me about it. Through tears, he expressed his feelings of deep gratitude and humility. He was so impressed with you & your organization; also motivated by your caring, loving & giving spirit.
I am so thankful for you and the generosity you, Team Forever and the Forever Fund extended on behalf of Jacob. Richard and Molly are humble, kind, generous, selfless, compassionate people. I have seen, since Jake’s birth and diagnosis, my brother like I’ve never seen him – fatigued beyond description, physically on his knees in prayer, visibly tearful (numerous times), fighting exhaustion, tears in his voice.
In my opinion, my nephew is a rock star. What a fighter. He has been lifted so high in prayer by so many. It’s so inspiring and humbling to see the sincere care & and concern that folks have for Jake.
Thank you especially, for the light you’ve shown on them; for the generosity you extended them & for seeing them as fit recipients. If there is anything that I can do to help promote/support your efforts, please let me know. I will forever have a special appreciation for pediatric cardiac charities.
